Everyone I spoke to told me they could hear me clearly. Sound quality was excellent on their end. One person complained about background noise when I was in my car, so I set the noise cancellation to maximum and they said that took care of the background noise. The sound clarity on my end was a different story. I often had to ask people to repeat what they said. Deep voices seemed a bit clearer than higher-pitched voices, but I was quite frustrated with having to try to interpret what people were saying. Also, there was an intermittent background static on the headset. I could hear it, but the people I spoke with could not. I upgraded the firmware from the BlueAnt website, but it didn't help. I bought this headset after my Plantronics 510 died after 2 years of use. I wanted to try something with more functionality. Needless to say, I'll be going back to the Plant 510 because the most important thing to me is sound clarity.
