There were a couple of drawbacks though- 1. The footbead is on the narrower side and I seem to have a little bit wider foot, but the soft leather has some give, so they should widen up a bit over time 2. The sole is very slick and on the thin side, so probably not the best for winter conditions. The shaft is wide enough to tuck in jeans if you have a narrower calf, like I do. I wear them with skirts and they still look cute with the little bit of gap-it just makes them more casual. I had to return it because if I exchanged for a bigger size, it would fit my feet, but it would be too loose on my calf ... so, it would not fit anyway.
