My Kindle arrived yesterday and I immediately tried it out with the Mighty Bright Xtraflex 2 attached and found that it does perfectly what it was designed to do....light the reading surface of the Kindle. I read in some of the reviews that it caused a glare on the screen; however I found that it is very easy to position it so that there is absolutely no glare cast on the screen. I am completely satisfied and would recommend this product to anyone with a Kindle. I also tried it with a regular hard cover book and noted that it lights the left and right pages equally, with no shadows.
