Customer Rating: Summary: Comfortable and durable Comment: I bought these for playing disc golf. The sole is made of a grippy compound which works well on both asphalt and concrete tees. The tread pattern holds well in grass and turf and bites when traversing up/down steep inclines. The unique tread pattern sheds mud and doesn't clog as with shoes with aggressive, deep biting cleat patterns. The toe box has ample room and the shoes are very comfortable once broken in. The construction is rock solid, the pair I bought has held up extremely well and I am very rough on shoes. Waterproof shoes are a must for those dewy early morning rounds, playing after rain, and fording shallow creeks. The Chameleons not only keep the water out but breathe very well, no sweaty, foul smelling socks. A big improvement over the Keen Targhee II's I bought last year.
